Wow! This Airdog is amazing! It sits and does its work all day long. I’m amazed how sensitive it is to air, dust, pollen and cooking odors. A great investment and well worth the money!

I purchased the best, most expensive AirDog because I'm highly allergic to cat dander. When an exposure happened in the house, the AirDog X8 didn't respond at all. I even put one of its intakes next to the culprit. Still, nothing. The AQI remained at "1." It's still set at 800 and blowing like crazy. We'll see what tomorrow brings. But, automatic it ain't!

I am sorry to hear that it did not quite meet your expectations. If the air quality in the room is showing at green then the air quality is excellent. This unit is designed to take the dander out of the air. Any pre-existing dander that may be on surfaces will have to be cleaned prior.
