Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to do before using my EdenPURE® G-Pro for the first time?

Place the G-Pro upright on a stable, level indoor surface with at least 20 inches of clear space around the unit. The collecting plates are packed on top of the purifier for shipping and must be installed in the rear compartment before use. Remove the protective cover from the plug, plug the unit directly into a wall outlet, and short-press the operation button to turn it on.

How do I change the operating mode on my EdenPURE® G-Pro?

While the G-Pro is running, short-press the operation button to cycle through Auto, Low, Medium, High, Turbo and Sleep modes. Auto is the default mode and automatically adjusts the airflow based on the air quality detected by the built-in sensor.

What does the AQI number on my G-Pro mean?

The AQI display shows the air-quality level detected by the G-Pro's built-in particle sensor. Lower numbers indicate cleaner air. An AQI of 50 or below is considered Excellent, 51-100 is Good, 101-150 is Moderately Polluted, and readings above 150 are Hazardous. Readings may change with airflow, placement, fan speed and conditions in the room.

How do I clean the collecting plates?

Unplug the G-Pro before cleaning. Remove the collecting plates from the rear of the unit, unlock and separate them, then wash them with water or place them on the top rack of a dishwasher. Allow the plates to dry completely before reassembling and reinstalling them. Never operate the purifier with wet collecting plates.

How often should I clean my EdenPURE® G-Pro?

A full cleaning is recommended every 3 to 6 months. Clean the G-Pro sooner if the cleaning reminder appears, airflow decreases, the unit is used in a particularly dusty environment, or you begin hearing popping, crackling or zapping sounds.

Why is the Auto light blinking red?

A blinking red Auto light is the collecting-plate cleaning reminder. Unplug the purifier, remove and wash the collecting plates, allow them to dry completely, and reinstall them securely. You should also clean the plates whenever visible buildup is present, even if the reminder has not appeared.

Why is my G-Pro making a popping, crackling or zapping sound?

Unplug the purifier before servicing it. Use a new, clean, dry eraser to gently clean the ionization wire-frame track by sliding the eraser back and forth as directed in the owner's manual. The wires are delicate, so use care. Also make sure all washed components are completely dry and correctly installed. If the sound continues after a full cleaning, stop using the unit and contact EdenPURE® Customer Service.

What should I do if my G-Pro displays 9XX and the power indicator is blinking?

If the 9XX display continues for more than 3 minutes, unplug the G-Pro and perform a complete cleaning. Make sure every component is completely dry, correctly reinstalled and making proper contact. If the 9XX display remains after cleaning and reassembly, contact EdenPURE® Customer Service.

What should I do if my G-Pro will not connect to Wi-Fi?

Restart Wi-Fi pairing by pressing and holding the operation control for 5 to 10 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator begins blinking quickly. Follow the app's connection instructions. A quick blink means the unit is starting to connect, a slow blink means it is connecting, and a solid Wi-Fi light means it is connected. Wi-Fi and app control are optional, so the G-Pro can still be operated directly from its control panel.
