Frequently Asked Questions

Why won't my CoolDisc turn on?

Make sure the battery is charged, then press and hold the Power button to turn the CoolDisc on. If it still does not start, fully recharge the battery and try again.

Why isn't the cooling plate getting cold?

The fan must be turned on before the cooling plate can operate. With the CoolDisc powered on, press the Cooling button and look for the green cooling icon on the display.

Why isn't my CoolDisc blowing much air?

Increase the fan speed using the Speed Control Knob. Also check the air inlet and outlet and make sure they are free of dust, debris, or anything that could block airflow.

How do I check the remaining battery level?

While the CoolDisc is turned on, double-click the Power button. The remaining battery percentage will appear on the digital display.

How do I adjust the fan speed?

Rotate the Speed Control Knob to increase or decrease the airflow. The CoolDisc provides settings from 1, the lowest speed, up to 100, the highest speed.

Why is the battery display flashing?

A flashing battery display means the battery level has dropped below approximately 5%. Recharge the CoolDisc before continuing to use it.

What should I do if my CoolDisc won't charge?

Make sure the charging cable and power source are working properly and check that the charging port is clean and free of debris. Use the supplied charging cable when charging the CoolDisc.

Can I use the CoolDisc while it is charging?

No. The CoolDisc cannot be operated while it is charging. Allow the battery to charge before using the fan again.

How do I clean and care for my CoolDisc?

Turn the CoolDisc off before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and keep the air inlet and outlet free of dust. Never immerse the unit in water.
