Does the GEN21 really heat a room using infrared technology?⌄
Yes. The GEN21 uses advanced copper PTC infrared heating technology to warm people and objects in the room instead of simply blasting hot air. The result is comfortable, even warmth that doesn't leave the room feeling dry or stuffy. Once furniture, floors and walls begin storing heat, the room stays comfortable longer.
What size room is the GEN21 best for?⌄
The GEN21 is designed as a supplemental heater for the rooms you use most. It works exceptionally well in bedrooms, family rooms, offices, dens and similar living spaces. Why is it called the Wall Hugger?⌄
Unlike many portable heaters that require several feet of clearance behind them, the GEN21 draws cool air from the front and exhausts heated air from the top. The owner's manual even recommends placing it near an inside wall for best performance.

Is the GEN21 noisy?⌄
Most owners describe the GEN21 as pleasantly quiet during normal operation. You'll hear the fan circulating warm air throughout the room, but it is much quieter than many high-output ceramic space heaters. After the heater cycles off, the fan may continue running briefly to cool the internal components, which is completely normal.
